A month after it was announced, a stream advisory has been rescinded for part of central Greenwood County.
Part of Onion Creek a few miles north of Hamilton, officially east of U Road and north of Willow Creek, was affected after water contaimination from a crude oil tank leak.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says water samples show tested contaminant levels are in normal ranges, so the agency has deemed the stream safe for wading and for livestock use.
