A man who pleaded no contest to attempted sexual exploitation of a teenager in Lyon County will spend over a year in prison as a result.
Chad Hamilton Pretzer was sentenced Thursday to 19 months in prison, along with 12 months of postrelease supervision and Kansas Offender registration for 25 years.
Pretzer was initially charged with three counts of sexually exploiting a then-16-year-old in January 2023. He accepted a plea agreement to a single count of attempted exploitation last month.
