Misti Hale was pleasantly surprised when she was informed that she had been selected as the grand prize winner of the fifth annual EmporiYum! event.
For being named the grand prize winner, Hale took home gift certificates from participating restaurants which are good for a year of dining out. While collecting her winnings at the Emporia Gazette offices Friday, Hale spoke with KVOE News and says while she doesn’t have any immediate plans for how to spend her winnings, she has an idea of what they may go towards.
