The fifth annual United Way-KVOE Live Morning Drive Radio Auction was successful, according to new Executive Director Daphne Mertens.
Over the past week, the United Way offered a different list of auction items, with listeners bidding through KVOE’s Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line.
The preliminary total is close to $4,000. Mertens credited the work of Community Impact Manager Hannah Crowl, donations from area businesses and bidding by area residents as reasons the auction was successful.
Totals will bolster the ongoing fundraising campaign for the United Way and its better than 20 community partners across eight counties.
