Emporia’s Presbyterian Church West Campus was filled with sounds of celebration Sunday.
The annual St. David’s Day concert brought about 80 people to the church for an hourlong concert involving traditional Welsh music.
St. David, the patron saint of Wales, lived in the Sixth Century and was well-known for his preaching ability, as well as founding monasteries and churches in Wales and southwest England.
This was the 136th rendition of St. David’s Day activities in Emporia and Lebo.
