The 2024 Friends of Scouting annual campaign will get underway Wednesday morning.
The Jayhawk Area Council’s annual breakfast will kick off the campaign inside the Bowyer Community Building. Wellnitz Tree Care and Emporia Scout Alumnus Skyler Delmott will serve as the keynote speaker for this year’s breakfast.
The annual campaign helps provide needed funding to the Jayhawk Area Council which plans and oversees several scouting programs including summer camps, weekend activities and merit badge days. Those interested in attending the breakfast can RSVP to Ian Lamb by calling 785-276-3345.
Those who want to contribute to the campaign but cannot attend Wednesday’s breakfast can donate online. If you would like to donate online click here.
