EFD began a prescribed burn in the park around 1 pm with work wrapping up before 3:30 pm. EFD was planning to burn around six acres at the park, however, due to weather conditions the work was not able to be completed all in one go.
EFD will be burning the east side of a hill in the park Wednesday with access to the park, including the disc golf courses and playground, being restricted throughout the process.
