Residents interested in bridge work the next few years in southern Osage County have a chance to learn more about the work ahead as part of an open house later this month.
The Kansas Department of Transportation has several projects ahead:
*2024: Resurfacing and patching US Highway 75 bridges over 325th Street, 333rd Street, 341st Street and Frog Creek.
*2025: Redecking the US-75 bridges over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad and Marais des Cygnes river.
*2027: Replacing US-75 bridges over Frog Creek and 341st Street.
The open house for these projects will be March 19 from 5-7 pm at Marais des Cygnes High School. Information will be presented online beginning March 20. Click here for the link.
