The Regional Devlopment Association of East Central Kansas Board of Directors meets Friday.
Board members will get an update on a possible Bioeconomy Development Opportunity zone, highlighting businesses that revolve around so-called biomass projects — in many cases to produce fuel.
Board members will also discuss the proposed 2025 budget and hear a request from Newman Regional Health to have an ex-officio, or nonvoting, position on the RDA board.
One executive session is planned.
The meeting starts at 7 am at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial.
