In the first Lyon County League matchup at state since 2010, Lebo defeated Marais Des Cygnes Valley 56-29.
Lebo raced out to a 13-2 first quarter lead, much in part to Senior Audrey Peak’s 10 points in the first eight minutes.
MDCV would continue to not have much of an answer to Lebo, as Lebo grew their lead to 25-4 at the half.
Lebo would grow their lead to as large as 39 before subbing out their starters. Peak finished with 15 points, leading all scorers
MDCV playing in their first state tournament since 2004, concluded their season at 14-10. Akrya Traver led MDCV with 14 points.
Lebo improved to 22-2, and will play Wallace County in their second consecutive final four.
