South Gray raced out to a 41-24 lead in the first half, before defeating Olpe 68-62.
Olpe scored the first point of the game, before South Gray went on a 6-0 run. South Gray never looked back, hitting 9/17 from 3 in the first half.
Olpe opened up the third quarter on a 8-0 run to begin the third quarter, much in part to Blake Skalsky. Skalsky scored 8 points in the quarter, as Olpe was able to cut the deficit to as low as 8 in the third.
South Gray continued to respond to each Olpe run in the fourth quarter, as South Gray’s Joey Dyck scored 9 down the stretch, finishing with 13 for the contest. Dominic Martin led South Gray with 21.
