Turnout was light for Lyon County’s Presidential Preference Primary offsite voter event Saturday — just like it has been for the advance vote process to date.
The offsite total was 51 voters at the Lyon County Extension office. The in-office total now is 177, including five provisional votes.
In-office advance voting ends at noon March 18, with the official election day and the deadline for all mail ballots to be returned March 19.
After the vote canvass March 25, attention turns to the traditional election cycle, including the primary election Aug. 6 and the general election Nov. 5. The candidate filing and withdrawal deadline is June 3.
