Street Cats Club contines its return to operations mode after a month on hiatus.
The club has announced the filling of several board positions. Destiny Farr is serving as president, with Melissa Ogleby as treasurer and Melissa Lowery as secretary. Melissa Johnson, Callie Medrano, Lorrilee Meisner and Karina Sanchez are board members. Melissa Sewell is the foster sector liaison.
In late January, the club announced departures of three group members and the related pause for both the foster care intake program and the trap/neuter/return program. Founder Victoria Partridge says the break let club members add some behind-the-scenes measures to help the club meet cat needs, including work with an outside consultant to flesh out bylaws, position descriptions and a clear organizational structure.
The club is still looking for a vice president and three board members. Interested people can email info@streetcatsclub.org for information.
