Tacos will be made and sold from left to right later this month.
The 12th annual Pan Fried Taco Feed will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at the Didde Catholic Campus Center.
Proceeds from the event support the John “Doc” Baxter Athletic Training Student Scholarship and the professional development of the ESU Athletic Training Club. On KVOE’s Newsmaker Segment Wednesday, organizer Matt Howe says funds will be put to good use.
Howe says students who receive these funds have an opportunity to go to conferences and be able to network. Howe says students have gone to conferences locally in either Topeka or Lawrence or even have an opportunity to go to a national conference in New Orleans.
Tacos will be sold in four different allotments. One taco is $3, two for $5, six for $15 and 12 for $30. New this year will be a meal that consists of two tacos, beans, and rice for $10. Howe says the event anticipates making 2,000 tacos will be made and sold.
Preorders can be made up until March 26 by contacting Howe at (620) 341-5499 and leaving a message with your name, time of pickup, and what you want to order. For orders on the day of the event, call the Didde Catholic Campus Center at (620) 343-6755.
