The No. 10 Kansas State men’s basketball team turned the ball over 20 times and couldn’t stop #7/No. 2 Iowa State in a 76-57 loss in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. on Thursday. The Cyclones controlled the ‘Cats early holding K-State to just 32% shooting in the first half on the way to a 34-27 halftime lead. The Cyclones finished just 1-for-14 from the 3-point line in the game but outscored KSU 23-9 in points off turnovers while shooting 46% from the field. Head coach Jerome Tang was asked after the game if his team had earned an NCAA Tournament bid.
