Starting next week, travelers along US Highway 75 in southern Osage County will be dealing with a multi-bridge repair project.
The Kansas Department of Transportation is resurfacing and patching bridges over 325th, 333rd, 341st and Frog Creek — all in a four-mile stretch of highway. KDOT plans to work on the 325th, 333rd and 341st Street bridges concurrently. It plans to start on the bridge over Frog Creek once the bridge work at 341st is done.
The project involves one-lane traffic and temporary traffic signals on all affected bridges. A 12-foot lane width restriction will also be part of the work zones. Speeds will be reduced to 55 mph throughout the entire project zone.
Work is tentatively set to begin Monday, weather permitting.
