Two people have been charged after an alleged chase that went from Greenwood County into Elk County early this month.
Greenwood County deputies say they attempted a vehicle stop on US Highway 400, but the car fled into Elk County before it crashed into a ditch.
Deputies arrested Bailey Cargile and Owen Solomon, ages and hometowns not listed, and Cargile currently has the longer charge list. Cargile faces charges of flee and elude, aggravated battery against law enforcement, interference with law enforcement, as well as possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and paraphernalia and several traffic offenses. Solomon, meanwhile, is charged with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Both Cargile and Solomon have preliminary hearings April 12.
