A hearing is coming next month in an aggravated assault and criminal hunting case out of Greenwood County.
Greenwood County deputies say they were alerted to a road rage incident in Eureka on March 1. Deputies haven’t given specifics, but they arrested Todd Stuber, age and hometown not listed, on suspicion of aggravated assault, driving under the influence, transporting an open container of alcohol and possessing a firearm while under the influence.
Greenwood County Attorney Jill Gillett has charged Stuber with 12 counts. Besides the aforementioned charges, Gillett charged Stuber with separate counts of hunting without a license and hunting big game without a tag. Stuber has also been charged with possessing an untagged big game carcass, hunting big game in a closed season, using an illegal caliber for hunting deer, wanton waste, criminal hunting and criminal discharge of a firearm.
Documents posted to the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal give no further information as to what allegedly happened.
Stuber has a preliminary hearing April 12 in Eureka.
