Spring practice began Tuesday afternoon at Welch Stadium for the 2024 Emporia State football team. Head coach Garin Higgins talked about his expectations of the team each spring.

Returning senior wide receiver Tyler Kahmann talked about his veteran approach to spring.
He also spoke about getting reps with new quarterbacks.
The Hornets are seeking their first NCAA Playoff appearance since 2016. ESU finished 9-3 in 2023 with a 7-3 MIAA record and while winning the 2023 Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl.
