The Lebo-Waverly softball team swept Southern Lyon County Thursday, 16-10 and 31-15.
In game one, Abi Jones went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and went the distance in the circle allowing 10 runs and 11 hits and had six strikeouts. Kayla Steinke took the loss in the circle for SLC, allowing eight runs on eight hits and two strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
In game two, Jones went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Allison Konrade went 3-for-3 with four RBIs. Cira Plummer also drove in four. Zoey Hirt got the win in the circle, allowing 14 runs on 10 hits and five strikeouts.
