The ranked Emporia State men’s tennis team kept its momentum going with a win Sunday at Quincy 6-1. The Hornets dropped the doubles point to open the match before sweeping the singles matches to knock off the Hawks. Anton Sarunic, Harrison Brown, Hachem Fahem, and Sergia Vera each won in straight sets with Mostafa Elbasnaly winning in a come-from-behind three set victory while Diego Calvo won in a super tiebreak. Emporia State plays next on Friday on the road against MIAA/GAC foe Nebraska-Kearney in a matchup of Top 50 teams.
