Senior guard Alijah Comithier has been named Second Team All-Central District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Comithier ended his career as the MIAA active leader in career scoring with 2,128 career points while scoring over 1,000 as a Hornet in his two years in Emporia. Comithier received First Team All-MIAA honors and finished the year second in the league in scoring at 17.8 ppg while scoring in double figures 28 times in 31 games including recording a triple-double. It is the third year in a row that a Hornets has been named to the All-District team following Owen Long last season and Tray Buchanan in 2022.
