Rain led to an injury crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Chase County on Sunday night.
The crash happened near the Matfield Green service exit shortly before 10 pm. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a car driven by 26-year-old Tehya Ortega of Hinesville, Georgia, hydroplaned and hit the center barrier wall before going off the highway into a ditch.
Emporia Fire/EMS took Ortega to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries.
