The Emporia High girls soccer team dropped its Titan Classic opener, 2-1, to Salina Central on Tuesday in Wichita. Emeil Bennett scored the Lady Spartans’ lone goal of the game after trailing 1-0. Emporia High is now 1-1 on the season and will play either Campus or Wichita Heights at 4 p.m. Thursday.
