The Emporia High girls swim and dive team finished in eighth in the Andover Central Invitational on Tuesday.
Emporia High’s top finish in the meet was sophomore Allisyn Weiss winning the diving portion of the event with a score of 230.75. Junior Brooke Monroe was eighth with a score of 145.50.
On the swim side, the 200-yard freestyle relay of Taylor Cunningham, Adeiah Heffner, Bailey Wiltz and Ryan Peak finished seventh with a time of 2:05.99. The 200-yard medley relay team of Monroe, Camryn Spafford, Heffner and Wiltz finished eighth with a time of 2:30.93.
Emporia High finished with 118 points finishing behind Andover, McPherson, Maize, Andover Central, Wichita Height, Maize South and Wichita North. Emporia High will travel to Topeka on Thursday.
