The Lebo-Waverly softball team was swept by Erie, while the Wolfdog baseball team swept the Red Devils on Monday in Waverly.
The Wolfdogs rallied to walk-off the Red Devils in the opener, 9-8, thanks to a walk-off RBI single by Ashton Lattimer. Lebo-Waverly made quick work in the finale defeating the Red Devils, 18-3, in three innings.
In game one, Corey Reese led the Wolfdogs going 2-for-3 with two RBIs while Zach Oswald drove in three. Oswald earned the win in relief, going 5.1 innings allowing three runs on five hits and 11 strikeouts.
In game two, Reese went 2-for-2 with five RBIs, while also getting the win on the mound, allowing one run on one hit and two strikeouts in two innings.
Erie held off the Lady Wolfdogs in the opener, 9-7, and completed the sweep by rallying in the finale for a 9-7 victory in eight innings.
In game one, Abi Jones went the distance allowing nine runs on 10 hits and had 10 strikeouts. Siara Crouch led the way offensively going 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
In game two, Crouch took the loss in the circle, allowing five runs on four hits and two strikeouts in four innings. Allison Konrade went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jones hit a solo home run.
Both Wolfdog teams are 2-2 and will host MdCV Thursday in Waverly.
