Junior guard Kaden Evans has entered the transfer portal from Emporia State basketball. The Kansas City, Mo. junior led the team in steals this year while averaging 7 ppg and 3 rpg and shooting nearly 37% from the 3-point line. He spent three years in Emporia after transferring from Southwest Minnesota State and was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention honoree last season. He made the announcement on twitter following the recent departure of head coach Craig Doty to take over as head coach at NCAA Division I Houston Christian. Evans has one year of eligibility remaining.
