Head Emporia State soccer Coach Jane Grimley-Gunn has announced three signings for her inaugural recruiting class. Alyssa Wolf was an All-Sectional, Conference and State player at Freeburg Community High School in Illinois last season. Taylor McFalls was All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention at Bennington High School last year in Nebraska. Lily Simpson was First Team All-Region and All-State at Lafayette High School in Kentucky. All three players will join the Lady Hornets as freshmen for the 2024 season. ESU is set to return ten players that logged over 500 minutes last year on its 2023 MIAA Tournament Championship team that lost in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
