Easter is a day to remember throughout the year, not just on Sunday.
That will be a part of Pastor Eddie Hosch’s message for the Messiah Lutheran Church’s drive-in Easter service at 8:30 a.m. at the Lyon County Fairgrounds.
Hosch joined KVOE’s Newsmaker 2 Segment on Thursday to preview the service. Hosch says Easter is like any other holiday to celebrate throughout the year.
Hosch says this unique service the church has once a year makes it fun for the church’s congregation, even if it’s through car windows and then gathering in the parking lot after the service concludes.
The church will also be accepting non-perishable food items to donate to the Salvation Army food pantry.
To attend the service, attendees must enter the fairgrounds from the north entrance off 12th Avenue. The service will last 30 minutes and we’ll carry it on 14-KVOE AM and 96.9 FM as well as online at KVOE.com.
