Mark II Lumber had a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for its brand-new facility Friday.
Mark II’s new showroom for cabinetry, countertops and flooring opened a month ago at 329 Commercial. Manager Luke Schnakenberg says this has been years in the making.
Schnakenberg also thanked customers for their patronage.
Mark II has been at 825 East Sixth for decades and is keeping that location for hardware, lumber and building materials. Schnakenberg tells KVOE News this frees up hundreds of square feet at the original location for other merchandise, especially as Mark II establishes a local presence as a True Value hardware store. It also gives remodeling customers a better shopping experience.
