The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released its all-state teams.
Two Emporia Lady Spartans and one Spartan made the list in Class 5A. Senior Addie Kirmer is a first-team selection while senior Lexsey DeWitt is an honorable mention pick. Junior River Peters is a third-team selection.
Areawide, on the girls side, in Class 1A-Division I, Burlingame’s Kaylin Noonan is a first team selection. Olpe’s Kadey Robert and Madison’s Jalynn Weakley are honorable mention picks. Lebo’s Audrey Peek and Saige Hadley are first-team selections in 1A-Division II. MdCV Akyra Traver is an honorable mention pick. In Class 2A, Chase County’s Madelyn Wilson is a third-team selection. In 3A, Osage City’s Emory Speece is an honorable mention pick.
On the boys side, Olpe’s Blake Skalsky is a first-team selection in 1A-Division I. In Class 1A-Division II, Lebo’s Grayson Shoemaker is a first-team selection. Lebo’s Zach Oswald is a second-team selection. Waverly’s Ben Meehan is a third-team selection. Lebo’s Dominic Risner and Hartford’s Coy Wilkenson are honorable mention picks. In class 2A, Lyndon’s Tanner Heckel is a first-team selection. Lyndon’s Jalen Massey is a second-team selection. Lyndon’s Kaedin Massey is a third-team selection. Lyndon’s Daxten Miller is an honorable mention selection. In Class 3A, Council Grove’s Brycen Palmquist is an honorable mention selection.
