The 25th annual Newman Regional Health Teddy Bear Clinic is coming Saturday.
The educational event will welcome young patients and their stuffed friends to Flint Hills Mall from 9 am to 1 pm. During the event, local children will receive important information on several topics of personal health including the importance of regular check-ups, immunizations, x-rays and more directly from Newman professionals according to Newman Marketing and Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton.
Middleton adds while it is titled the teddy bear clinic, they welcome children to bring any item or stuffed animal that brings them comfort.
Participant bags will also be given out to children in attendance while supplies last. Reservations are not accepted and bags will be given out on a first come – first served basis.
