To White Auditorium they were called, and to White Auditorium they went — nearly 900 women from across the area to take part in KVOE’s 40th annual Working Women After Hours event.
The White Auditorium floor was full of women learning from a range of vendors — and also taking to sample food and drinks. KVOE General Manager Ron Thomas says Thursday night was a great way to celebrate 40 years of Working Women.
Carrie McElfresh won the grand prize, an above-ground pool from Jack’s Lawn and Pool valued at $7,500. McElfresh says winning the pool came at a good time.
Seresa Howe won a two-hour rental of the new Axe Shedd mobile trailer valued at $435.
This was the 40th annual Working Women After Hours event connecting women with local and area businesses. The event also included booth prizes and a fashion show from Flinthills Mall.
