An Oklahoma man was hurt as part of a wreck on the Kansas Turnpike in Osage County on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Christopher Hokett of Oklahoma City was southbound and had just passed mile marker 161, 14 miles northeast of the Admire tollgate and 34 miles northeast of the Emporia gate, when a white Swift semi changed lanes and hit his pickup shortly after 3:30 pm.
Hokett was taken by ambulance to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
The semi driver is not listed in the online crash log. An update on the crash investigation is pending.
