A preliminary hearing is coming later this month for an Emporia man accused of attempted aggravated kidnapping and other aggravated criminal activity.
Juan Baza-Morales had his first appearance in Lyon County District Court on Monday. Besides attempted kidnapping, Baza-Morales was formally charged late last week with single counts of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, aggravated witness intimidation and criminal threat.
Baza-Morales’ preliminary hearing is April 29.
