The David Traylor Zoo has a new addition to its lemur exhibit.
On Tuesday, came the arrival of a newborn ring-tailed lemur to the parents of Nova and Oscar. Executive Director Lisa Keith says the zoo is excited to bring a new member of an endangered species into its ring-tailed lemur troop.
The newborn ring-tailed lemur is the sixth lemur to be added to the exhibit. Keith says the zoo has three types of lemurs, ring-tailed, black and white ruffed, and crowned.
Keith says there is no name currently for the newborn ring-tailed lemur but that will change soon.
The newest addition to the Lemur exhibition can be seen at the David Traylor Zoo Mission Madagascar during regular zoo hours.
