After tornadic thunderstorms early Tuesday, more severe weather is possible areawide by Wednesday evening.
Area counties are in a marginal to slight severe weather, with areas along and north of a line from Council Grove to Americus to Lebo in the slight risk area.
Two rounds of storms are possible, one starting by mid-evening and another moving through the area shortly before sunrise. Hail to the size of tennis balls is the main concern. Initially, tornadoes and high winds were not expected, but a non-zero tornado risk has been added just south of Emporia and a small wind risk has been added areawide.
