The Emporia High girls swim team finished eighth at the Marion Invitational on Friday.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Brooke Monroe, Camryn Spafford, Ryan Peak and Bailey Wiltz finished fifth with a time of 2:20.91. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Peak, Wiltz, Taryn Woydziak and Monroe finished fifth with a time of 2:02.40. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Peak, Taylor Cunningham, Woydziak and Spafford finished seventh with a time of 4:47.63. Peak finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:27.86. Spafford finished ninth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 3:03.93. Monroe finished ninth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:22.12.
Emporia High recorded 141 points as a team.
The Emporia High divers will head to Topeka on Tuesday. Both the swimmers and divers will host its final home meet on Thursday with diving at 1 p.m. and swim events at 4 p.m.
