Community members can turn back time to the 1960s next Friday at White Auditorium and help benefit Flint Hills Technical College.
FHTC will be holding its 22nd annual benefit gala and auction to raise money for scholarships for students. Festivities begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and main festivities and live auction is set to begin around 7:45 p.m.
Vice President of Advancement Mike Crouch says the event has continued to grow over the last five to six years with the growth of Flint Hills Technical College.
Crouch says a long list of community partners makes the gala auction successful every year. The event’s presenting sponsor this year is Modern Air.
Dinner will be provided by FHTC’s Hospitality/Culinary Arts program and Gourmet To-Go.
FHTC will be honoring ESB Financial President Michael Black as its distinguished alumni during the event.
