Sentencing will take place in June after a pursuit in Coffey County last month.
At his arraignment hearing earlier this month, 47-year-old Robert Allen Carpenter of Burlington pleaded no contest to single counts of flee and elude and theft. Charges of driving while suspended and reckless driving were dismissed.
Carpenter was initially charged with stealing a crossover SUV and then leading a chase in Coffey County while having a suspended license on March 15.
Sentencing is June 27.
