A request for emergency funds to handle repairs at the North Lyon County Senior Center will be one of two action items considered by Lyon County Commissioners Thursday morning.
Carol Curless of the North Lyon County Senior Center will submit a request for $1,000 to support roof repairs at the center. Separately, commissioners will consider a firearms purchase request from Lyon County Sheriff Jeff Cope not to exceed $27,100 from GT Distributors Inc.
Cope will also submit a separate, yet related request totaling $5,000 from Mallory Safety and Supply LLC for upgraded holsters and accessories. Commissioners also have two executive sessions planned, one for non-elected personnel and the other for legal matters.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
