Three Hornets All-MIAA Baseball; Myers Co-Freshman of the Year

Four Hornet baseball players earned All-MIAA recognition in 2024.  Logan Myers was named the Co-Freshman of the Year while Kadyn Williams, Cade Barton, and Graham Brunner all received honorable mention honors.  Myers is the first conference Freshman of the Year since T. J. Racherbaumer won the award in 2022.  Myers hit .301 with a .903 OPS in his first season in Emporia.  Williams was honorable mention at third base after leading the team with a .323 batting average, 11 doubles, and 11 home runs.  Barton was All-MIAA on the mound with a 3.18 ERA before having his season cut short due to injury in April.  Brunner finished with a 3-1 record and a 4.25 ERA with 59 strikeouts in his 55.0 innings of work.
