Emporia Police are investigating after an incident of unspecified nature developed on the east side of Emporia on Tuesday.
Officers and Emporia EMS were dispatched to 706 Sylvan around 7:30 am. Officers on site say one person was arrested and another taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officers also called in Lyon County deputies and ESU Police and Safety officers for help in transporting the suspect to jail.
Names have not been released. Other case details are currently pending.
