Emporia Police say Tuesday’s incident in eastern Emporia is being investigated as a domestic violence incident.
Officers were dispatched to a home around 7:30 am, finding an adult male with suspected serious injuries. That person was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment and was later transferred to another unnamed hospital.
A second adult male was taken into custody on unspecified charges.
With detectives continuing their domestic violence investigation, officers will not be releasing any additional information.
