Emporia State senior outfielder Alexis Dial has been named First Team All-Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. She’s the first Lady Hornet to earn All-Region honors since Stephanie Goodwin and Taylor Zordel both earned the distinction in 2015. The Topeka native hit .430 in 2024 while slugging .778 for E-State while leading the MIAA in doubles with 21 to go along with five triples, eight home runs, and 60 RBI. Dial finished second in the league in slugging percentage, OPS, and total bases while finishing in the top five in batting average, hits, triples, and on base percentage. The Lady Hornets wrapped up the year 31-20 in 2024.
