Regional assignments have been announced for three Emporia High teams.
The Emporia High girls soccer team is the No. 7 seed in the 5A west bracket and will host Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Emporia High baseball team is the No. 14 seed in the 5A west bracket and will travel to Andover Central to face the Jaguars on Wednesday. The Jaguars and the Spartans met on May 3 with Andover Central winning the game, 5-0. Game time is set for 25 minutes after the first game which starts at 2 p.m. between Great Bend and Salina South. The Emporia High softball team is the No. 16 seed in the 5A west bracket and will travel to Maize South to face the Mavericks 25 minutes after the first game between Kapaun Mt. Carmel and Andover Central.
