Five area high school seniors have been selected to play in the KBCA All-Star Games next month in Salina.
On the girls side, Emporia High’s Addie Kirmer and Lebo’s Audrey Peek will be on the girls blue team. Burlingame’s Kaylin Noonan is on the girls gold team. On the boys side, Lebo’s Grayson Shoemaker is on the boys blue team, while Lyndon’s Jalen Massey is on the boys gold team. Kirmer and Noonan have both signed with Emporia State for basketball. Peek has signed to play volleyball and basketball at Allen Community College. Shoemaker has signed with Southwestern College for basketball. Massey has signed with Washburn for football.
Three other Emporia State women’s basketball signees are also playing in the game. Silver Lake’s Makenzie McDaniel and Clearwater’s Elizabeth Tjaden join Kirmer and Peek on the girls blue team. Rossville’s Emma Mitchell joins Noonan on the girls gold team.
The KBCA All-Star Games will be played on June 22 at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University.
