Emporia High sophomore Allie Weiss had a goal this spring.
Win all of her diving meets. Weiss completed that feat on Saturday in the Class 5-1A State Diving Championships with her first state championship with a score of 451.20, winning the meet by 69.55 points over St. Thomas Aquinas’ Abby Paprocki by 69.55 points. Weiss said she was glad to accomplish the goal she had for this season.
Weiss has two more years left of diving and an opportunity to match her sister, Haylee, with three state championships.
