The Emporia man arrested after a vehicle stop and the alleged discovery of several outstanding warrants has been charged with being a fugitive from justice in another state.
James Paul Davis, age 47, will appear in Lyon County District Court on Monday afternoon after his arrest this past Thursday. Davis is accused of leaving Craig County, Oklahoma, after being charged with second-degree burglary.
Emporia Police have said Davis was also arrested on warrants for alleged flee and elude and interference with law enforcement, as well as possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
