Dimarco Named Jones Award Finalist

Emporia State soccer All-American Mackenzie Dimarco has been named a finalist for the MIAA Ken B. Jones Award.  The award honors the conference’s top male and female athlete.  Dimarco’s career ended in 2023 after back-to-back runs with the Lady Hornets to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after being named the Central Region Player of the Year and the MIAA Offensive Player of the Year with an association record 23 goals and seven game winners.  Dimarco led the country in goals and her 50 points ranked third nationally.  She departed ESU as MIAA record holder in goals and points and set program records for shots, shots on goal, and game-winning goals.
